I just wanted to write a quick post about The Shack by William Young. Reyna's dad brought her the book to read this last weekend and it came highly recommended from him. I had also heard Reyna say that Kathy was reading or had read the book and I knew that Brooke was a big fan also, so on Sunday night after Gatti's I decided to crack it open to see what all of the fuss was about. I must admit that the book was very captivating. The first night I picked it up I was through the first 5 chapters before I knew it and I'm secure enough in my manhood to tell you that those first 5 chapters really had the waterworks flowing. Every now and then I will get my hands on a book that completely engulfs me and I can barely put it down (i.e.- Same Kind of Different as Me, The Left Behind Series, etc.). This book was no different. I finished the book last night, yeah 250 pages in 3 days! This is one of those few books that I will recommend to everyone that I know and probably give it out as a gift in the future, so any of you who have not read the book, I strongly suggest picking up a copy and reading this excellent portrayal of God's love for each of His creations.
I'm back!!!!
